Shows Over

So the show is over and I have to say I am gutted that the last full scale production is over but I have to say it was a great show even if I any be a little bias. People came to see the show 3 times and I have to say I was not expecting that although I have to say it was not all my cast. I have the post show blues really bad this time as it is starting to hit me that soon I will not be here doing this with the amazing people that are my class but at least we finished on a great performance even if I was not entirely happy with mine but you can always do better! I think everyone in the class got good feedback and I hope grades will reflect but that’s not the important thing really. Now time to concentrate on Dissertation Showcase and creative an innovation which seems like an amazing drama already. The class is so creative that starting something from scratch is going to involve some heated discussions but that may not be all bad if we find something good. As for showcase I just hope people come and see the talented bunch that is my group.

Got some auditions and meetings this week which is great but scary they are only for small projects but mean the real world and the industry is getting closer, great but scary!!

Not really got anything to say so will leave it at and say that the plan for this term is to enjoy and appreciate every min and try and prepare myself for life outside the comfort blanket of uni :) x

Not long now and things are getting good :)

Working Hard :)

So I am not very good at keeping up this blog I have discovered but I am back. After a car crash of a week back after Christmas things seem to be looking up this week. Rehearsals are back on track and getting fun again. Punk Rock is such a good play but can't say I am not finding this character hard I need to find a good 'IN' but it is getting there and have had more chance to play this week which has been liberating. I have to say the pressure is getting to at the min with production and all the other uni related work so just need to keep my mind on the end product which WILL be an amazing show. I have my performance dates and I have the Friday evening which is always good so if you want to come see the show it is on at the Theatre at the School of creative Arts Blackpool on the 15th, 16th and 17th of Feb. and I am doing the first 2 mats and then the last evening so get in touch for tickets. I really hope that we manage to get some people from the industry to come and watch as I it will be really good to get people to see that just because it’s Blackpool does not mean that there is not a lot of talent and high quality shows coming out of the uni. Well we will soon see if it all pays off. I suppose that is enough for now :) speak soon x
